I've landed there and travelled to other parts of the Netherlands many times for work. Maybe it's time to actually stop there and walk around for a day or two. Might do that this summer vacation for shits and giggles. Actually go somewhere for a change.

I like Amsterdam, not a big fan of all the tourists who are just there to get drunk/stoned and gawp at the ladies in their windows... Get away from that and it's a wonderful city! Depends what you are into, but it's easy to spend a whole day just in the Rijksmuseum.
