Lockdown activities: Painting again after 3 years without touching a brush.

Rustwing is finished! My first large model, so pretty happy with the result.

I took an almost 3 years break from painting after my father passed away. For some reason I linked my hobby with my father's memory, so it became kinda depressing.

Good news are, I'm back into it (I would like to thank the lockdown for that).

The idea of the blood, growths etc. comes from the horror film Cabin Fever.

And remember, never ever feel bad for dropping a hobby, whatever the reason. It should be something to enjoy. I felt bad for months just because of how expensive the paints, models etc were, so I was feeling almost obligated to use them.

Give yourself a break. You may go back to it or not,it doesn't really matter, as far as you enjoyed it while the passion lasted.
