Golden Girls is still absolutely hilarious and stands the test of time. A LOT of sitcoms these days pale in comparison.

This is definitely one of the best shows ever. Way ahead of it’s time. This show had me in stitches

Why did I read it in the voice of Mrs Brown from Mrs Brown's Boys?
thirith
Mrs Brown is basically the Irish version of Sophia. You should what the Golden Girls, seriously one of the best shows in history.
Why do you all hate Mrs Brown's Boys so much.

This show was great. The episode with guy with Alzheimer's killed me, though. I remember crying to my mom that I didn't want that to...

My grandma had dementia, I saw her deteriorate and one day she didn't know who I was. I have this fear and I still near cry when I remember
It's prolly the worst part of my life, if someday I lost my mind... I don't want to live. I just don't want to fade away and cause suffer.
Happen to my grandma ( I watched the show with her). And then like 5 years later it did, but I watched my grandmother deteriorate into...
A much worse condition than the guy in that episode. It always haunted me after she passed. My fears were very real, and there was nothing..
I could have done to prevent it. But somehow, I think watching that prepared me, even if just by defining the illness.

I grew up watching this show, and I like to think some of my beliefs and values came from this show.

Golden Girls was oddly progressive for what it was. And god I loved it.
Many shows of that era were. Three’s Company. Jack pretending to be gay (normalizing it). Fresh Prince of Bel Air. All in the Family.

You gotta love Rose!
