violet/purple ghosting screen

screen is fine connected with hdmi

I actually had this with a green tint once. Uninstalled the video driver and updated it. Fixed.

Very likely the connector needs to be re-seated. ez.

i see, ima have to take it apart. so i just have to push the connectors back together and itll fix the ghosting/ purple screen?

hey, got it fixed by replacing the digitizer in the screen

I'd do exactly what @haffawaffle says, I have seen it before as well, with pink/purple. Uninstall vid drivers, reboot, reinstall updated ver

is vid driver the same thing as graphics driver? thats the one i updated

Yep. When I saw this it was a problem with shaders in a game. Have you noticed any increase in temps? Changed res and all that?

the laptop is getting pretty warm just by itself. idk what tools to get for cleaning it tho. other than that, everything is purple/violet

and background images becomes transparent even when exited

I suggest booting a live linux distro from usb/cd/dvd to ensure it's not software related. Could be failure of vram, hopefully not.

its not software related :( the nvidia driver didnt work. i need to take it apart. ive read the inverter board might be the problem
