His foot got snagged on a seatbelt getting out of my car and he tore a ligament in his knee. Despite treatment, he couldn’t shake the limp, and the specialist decided to operate.
He was always such a happy, adventurous dog.

Rocking shoes and socks - he’s had some joint issues and drags his feet when he’s tired.
Out for the count. Edit update: its 2:51am where I am, and I just got woken up by him because he needed to go out. I held his hips and supported his weight while he strained to back out a dookie. Who said dogs aren’t training for parenthood?

My girl had hers two years ago. Scar is hidden under the fur, and you can't even tell she's had it. Best 600 bucks I ever spent. Get well!

Our Goldie had both rear knees done... be careful, they can become loose after a few years and can pop out of joint, especially if they turn

Looks like a cruciate repair. Long road to recovery, happened to my dog too, hoping he is back to normal by summer. :-)

The vet reckoned 3 months till he’s approaching normal. Good thing we’re in the Southern Hemisphere so he’s not missing too much summer
