Putting the finish on, first coat

getting through all this stuff is tough and dulls tools quick
1 inch hole for the lathe chuck to grab
used silicone mold so the resin peels away easier
the bottom rounded out
Sanding and cleaning the outside
I love the way the resin flows through the voids
Still needs sanding
Done sanding, one coat of polyurethane wipe-on so far

@OP : If you want to sell those, keep in mind that most resin is not "food save". Might need some food save clearcoat.

I always caveat when it's not food safe, and this one is not. I have a food safe tung oil, and I only put it on 100% wood products

I remember another Imgur post using the glow-in-the-dark effect for a shelf. Someone commented that the glow doesn't last long.

Yeah, the tools are costly and the skills (learning curve) needed to actually start churning out good products is 'too dayum high'.

not really, it shaves off neatly as long as the chisels are sharp
