Doubt it. Even in the wild, Cheetahs are notoriously docile. The record for Cheetah related deaths and attacks is surprisingly low.

I got to pet a cheetah cub when I was in South Africa. It was 8 months old, and it purred. Only about 3 big cat species purr. (1)

Cheetahs aren't one of the five big cats (panthera) or the two clouded leopards (neofelis). They are alone in Acionyx, part of 'small cats'

Snow Leopards are another, can't remember the other one. It was at a sanctuary near Cape Town. Super cool.

Snow leopards can't purr. Panthera have fused hyoid bones which allow them to roar but prevent purring. They can make chuffs but no purr

Cougars aren't big cats. Neither are cheetahs. No big cats (Lion, Leopard, Jaguar, Tiger, Clouded leaopard) can purr, because they can roar.
