I think Covid-19 is the incident that showed that Neoliberalism doesn't work. It never did. It's just been abundantly made clear now.

So covid is liberal?

Ugh! We're not supposed to negotiate with terrorists. Countless viruses will develop and start making their own demands. Slippery slope.

4 day school week too (keep em longer each day), this along with WFH makes less pollution and road wear and traffic jams
MagiicHat

While we keep the 2 party system nothing will get better
ThyApostle
What are you talking about? The rich will get richer!
melancholicpetrichor
I'm a Canadian living in Australia, and while the USA is perhaps the most eggregious example of Neoliberalism - we ALL need to learn.
MagiicHat
We lobbed a hand grenade last election... And pedo Joe is the answer? Dammit guys... This was the chance for 3rd party.

We need someone that dosnt classify as either Republican or Democrat.

Lets get that healthcare rolling first and foremost. Lower income levels would be far easier to manage without health debt.
PotKnight
Lower income levels can’t afford to pay for anything else, how about you stop trying to spend poor people’s money?
TheRealHS
If it was poor peoples money that was going to fund it, the rich wouldn't be so against it.
PotKnight
If Do you think anyone but the poor is going to pay for it you obviously haven’t been in America very long the poor pay for everything
TheRealHS
Yes it's almost as if things need to change for the better or something.
PotKnight
They never will. The poor will always be used, and the rich, like you, will always be the ones using them to get richer.
GarmBlack
They can't afford healtchare either... even if you are right, I'd take poor people still being poor and being able to have medication,
GarmBlack
nutritional education, surgeries, drs. visits, etc... that can help them do better in school and work, and move up the economic ladder, than
GarmBlack
poor people who are poor, and in poor health, and unable to focus in school, get proper sex education, and in so much medical debt from the

modicum of healthcare they've been able to participate in they will forever be poor.
