I decided to go see the movie even though I thought it looked terrible. I wanted be able to say I saw it and it sucked. It honestly wasn't that bad. It kind of fizzled out at the end though. I liked all the characters except for Kate Mckinnon's. Leslie Jones' character wasn't has bad as the commercials made it seem. I've seen her in SNL and it wasn't that far off from how she acts on there. Chris Hemsworth was so hilarious. Sometimes they made him too dumb but for the most part he was funny. I think they are definitely playing on the who "sexism" thing just to get people to talk about. Seems like they knew people would have this reaction and even reference it in the movie. All the cameos were awesome to.
TLDR It was ok.

Why spend $10 dollars on something you make clear you KNOW isn't worth that? Why not wait for it to be on TV?

I only trust my sister's reviews of things. Even then, I see things for myself to be sure. I really want a sequel to this Ghostbusters.

Doubtful. It's not gonna make its money back. It needs to make 500 million. It's nowhere close to hitting that.

That's why I left angry. I realized I really enjoyed it, then I realized so many people hated it before seeing it, that it was unlikely.

I got a pass from work and it was playing at the time I showed up, so I saw it. I was really fucking impressed by it.

Only complaint was Hemsworth being ridiculously stupid. He was funny as fuck, I just really really hate that pretty and dumb stereotype.

Nobody has said it was good, they say "its not that bad". Which is fine...but Ghostbusters deserves better than mediocre.

You're right, it does deserve better. I have three friends who went to see it and they all really liked it for some reason though..
