Actually, that’s an updated version of the Virginia Battle Flag/Confederate Naval Jack. This version didn’t actually fly in the battlefield. But was later created and used as the rallying symbol for white supremacy, segregation and black voter suppression in the 1940s.

I mean if we want to be pedantic (and who doesnt?) the US flag should be one of about 9 different versions with 33, 34, or 35 stars from the early 1860s. apparently (according to wikipedia at least) there were various versions in use after the additions of Oregon, Kansas, and West Virginia
