I've just found out that a friend of mine killed himself this week, he was a recovered alcoholic, he'd been clean for 5 years. He was going through a rough patch with his wife, he found out she was cheating on him and at his lowest point he killed himself. We think he hit the bottle to get the courage to do it. Nobody knew what was happening, he didn't talk about it.
Please people, talk to someone before you do something permanent to a problem that is only temporary

When you're in that situation it's nearly impossible to talk to someone about it. There's nothing you could've done. At least he's at peace.
