The problem is, that whenever it says "fat free", it almost always means "MUCH more sugar" because when you remove the fat from things, you also remove some if not a LOT of the flavor, so to compensate, they add more sugar. Look at the "thin oreos vs regular oreos" or compare the sugar value of the standard (non-vegan/non-organic) full fat yogurt vs the fat free variety.
When I worked at KFC in the 1980s during college, we didn't have an employee of the month, but the employees decided on "Geek of the Week" for those who made the biggest f-up.
We also got free food/sodas. After an August day in 100+ F heat, you got to appreciate water instead. And I had a high metabolism there and gained no weight. I miss that metabolism.
Yeah, the sugar companies pushed the idea that fat is bad, and then people were "getting off sugar". Truth is, you just need a balanced diet with portion control. Keep those calories low and get your nutrients and you're good. And I find that when I watch calories I just kind of naturally avoid starches and sugars and fats in excess because they're not filling for the amount you get.
Reminds me of my coworkers Teams profile pictures. Dudes nearing retirement, +200lbs heavier, balding, huge beards, still using their uni graduation pictures.
What's funny... I am doing something similar, but I have actually gotten more muscular since. Clients don't realize from seeing just my face in a teams call that I'm a very large man, and it's been off-putting for some when they finally meet me in person.
I worked for a company that never changed your picture on your security badge. People look a lil different after 30 years. Kinda defeats the purpose of a security badge photo
Mine updates pictures but I have managed to hang on to my 2010 ID so I can show people what I looked like with bangs. (I have a newer one too that I use for…well, identification…)
My director was forced to part with his early 2000’s ID from before his LASIK surgery and before his hair went gray. He wore a red polo on picture day and we tease him that the new one looks like he works at Target.

Well, the yogurt might be fat free, but those toppings are 99% sugar.
frightlever
FroYo is like 50% sugar. Otherwise it would taste of Yogurt, and ain't nobody got time for that shit.

I think we've kept that idea from the 70s that fat is the #1 enemy, worse than sugar and starches.
