Its on purpose, cant update game with new content so made the super hard to keep you playing. That said, damn seaweed got me every time

Ooooh. My friend. Here is how you beat the game. Sacrifice raph. He sucks. That’s your junk player. Next there is an early game area where you can get unlimited scrolls if you go out and back in to collect them. Don is your best player. Save him at all costs.

The trick, besides memorizing the underwater level, was to make sure you had all the turtles topped up on Scrolls and health before entering the Techodrome. Then, in that annoyingly long hallway, just tap forwards and the enemies will appear then back off the screen so you don't have to fight them and they don't hit you. Keep tapping until you clear it. Use Donatello for most bosses.

I've beat it. Trick for me was to max out everyone on scroll weapons on the sewer stage. Could blast through the technodrome pretty easily after that. The dam stage was hard for most people who didn't know how to feather their controls while swimming through stinging seaweed.
