I hate ticks, when I get one on me that I have to remove with tweezers will itch for a bout 3 weeks and it will take sometime 2 months for it to heal. I had one on my ankle from 6 weeks ago that is still not healed. The other is Chiggers. Between those two there isn't much worse.

We used to get so many june bugs we invented "Annual June Bug Whacking" done with badminton racquets just as they start to come out at dusk. At first the neighbours had no idea what we were swinging at, but with very little persuading, they joined in.

Because I'm scared of them, thats pretty much it. June Bugs, Water Bugs, and Cockroaches. Unpredictable flying and relentless. If Ticks were the size of a June Bug and could fly, I would move to the arctic. I'd rather go head-to-head with a Polar Bear.

I lived in a very tick heavy area for a few years & let me tell you it sucks like little else for me. Lots of venomous snakes also but they didn't bother me as near as much as fucking ticks.
