Why? I thought it was a fad going around. This sounds like a legit medical reason.
I have Lyme disease and gluten affects my immune system and causes a "leaky gut" because the antibiotics are already wreaking havoc. (1)
I've been gluten free for a few months, but he just told me I should go lactose free today since I've still been having major G.I. issues.
