An Imgurian Friendship

My Drawing that started it all!

I posted this ages ago now, based on a nightmare I had after watching the wonderful horror movie The Babadook.

This guy is a saint for browsing User Sub. He saw my drawing and was immediately intrigued, and sent me a PM about potentially commissioning another drawing.

My first commission!

Well, my first commission for someone I had never met. He had asked me to do something "lovecraftian", and I threw this together. He liked it. :)

His Barbarian

When he asked what I liked to draw, I mentioned I liked designing characters for RPGs I play (like D&D, exalted, mutants and masterminds, etc.) and he immediately got excited and sent me this character description.

His Bard

Watercolor pencil and some marker, this one took me forever to figure out how to draw, but I liked it. All of the back stories for his characters were so involved and wonderful!

Eventually

Over time, our relationship became less and less professional until we just gave up and became friends. Just the other day I let slip that my birthday is on May 15th.

Biggest water bottle ever

This water bottle is massive. I will never have to fill it ever holy cow. It's also vacuum insulated, and can keep things hot for 24 hours or cold for 48 hours!!! Good god!

This was the greatest birthday surprise. I'm so happy. I've never had a long distance friend before, and he's definitely the best. I love you @battletoots .
