Replace the fences with a wall and make the elephants pay for it.

Polite, or just being tall enough that destroying the fence would cost more energy then simply walking over it? Anyways +1 because elephant

Who cares? I wanna know where the heck she's *going*? Did she decide one day "I need a vacation. I think I'll walk to Cairo."?

nothing to enhance

Fun fact: Elephants remember electric fences.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We will be polite too

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats a bit of evolution at work. Farmers kill them for breaking fences, she's learned to step over so they dont come after her.

Babarbedwire

"Okay... don't mind me... just passing through... no need to shoot me or anything."

The fence? It's electric. Boogie woogie, woogie.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay lets kill them and use their horns for potency mixtures

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What time is it when an elephant sits on your fence?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Time to get a new fence! This was my favorite joke when I was kid lol (admittedly I still chuckle when I hear it)

What is an elephant's sexual appendage?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I can never not laugh at this joke.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There electric. She has beeb shocked before.

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 17

Upvoted for the fact of the matter, killed myself because of the spelling

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

They're, Been

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I wouldn't mind shocking The Beebs.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look at that, a train wreck.

9 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 2

The wire is attached to the posts directly. The wire is grounded meaning it can't be electric.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I'm too dumb to know if it's true, but you sure do sound smart

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Or barbed, which seems more likely

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

it's a electric! Boogie woogie, woogie!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The electric slide! ... god we're old.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it that she's polite, or did she learn previously that barbed wire hurts?

9 years ago | Likes 376 Dislikes 4

Naw, they have really thick skin. I think they're in the same territory as Rhinos & Hippos. Extra-extra-extra thick hides.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She knew she'd get hunted and shot if she did

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes.

9 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

Nice

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess that's why no male elephants take that route

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I mean humans would avoid just smashing into a fence like this for both reasons...why can't they?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't see barbed wire on any of the fences she's stepping over in the photos.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I prefer to believe she's just being polite. Don't judge me, I just need this right now!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol like barbed wire can get through elephant skin.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

Elephant skin is very thick on some parts like the trunk, but very thin and sensitive for example on their belly

Oh yeah you're so smart what's a trumpyderm then?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, the steel can get through 4cm of skin. Ear skin is only 2cm. Their thickest skin is about 2in thick. With 10k mass, it can do a lot

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How do you know this?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

*whispers* Is he an elephant too???

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wanna say its the hurting..but there have been studies elephants are self aware..meaning idk if thats exactly the case

9 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 1

Ever seen how they react to mice? Mythbusters did a test... they sprung a mouse in surprise in front of an Elephant, and they recoiled.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah but they decided they couldn't be 100% sure if it was scared of the actual mouse or the fact that it appeared suddenly.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They think it was less scared of the mouse and more unwilling to squish it underfoot. They think the elephants would find it unpleasant.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They have an extremely advanced nervous system allowing them to feel empathy

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

And pain

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Empathy? Then they're more advanced than humans.
