"you can peacefully kill people"

You know what? He should go. He’ll make fine cannon fodder in the great meat grinder.

Off to the Blyat Brigade with you. Enjoy bleeding out in a ditch with pieces or yourself scattered all around.

We could have ended the war. We could have honored our promise to defend Ukraine, we could have pushed more. We could have done so much.

The US and Russia in a race for shittiest people in history.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Thankfully. Russia still has a bit of a lead.

Gets killed by an exploding toy before ever having seen an actual enemy..

1 month ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

Yup. Life expectancy for a Russian soldier on the line is like 20-30 minutes.

I'm quickly reminded of the Mahmudiyah murders. This PoS sounds like the kind of guy who'd do something like that.
Wanna know more (and be disgusted)? LLBD did an episode on this: https://soundcloud.com/llbdpodcast/episode-29-the-mahmudiyah-murders

in a civilised and enlightened society, he'd land on a list and hopefully get psychological help. statements like that would instantly disqualify him from serving in the military here. in russia, however, he will be the perfect recruit. a dumb psychopath, brainwashed with state propaganda, happy to die for a few hundred bucks.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He'll die for free and if his family gets anything it'll be a bag of onions and a Lada hood ornament.

"peacefully kill people" huh? may the buzzing of drones be in your near future, soldier

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looking forward to see him running away from a drone before the camera closes in, and suddenly goes black.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

This is literally the same shit I heard at boot camp during the early war on terror years from 17-24 year olds. We were not different and just as fucking dumb.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

this is how i got the military recruiters to STOP calling me in the US lol. (2004) calling me like every week for a year I basically said this and apparently put on a do not call list. I don't think it would work anymore

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This makes it easier to watch all those drone videos blowing people like this to pieces. I've seen plenty of suffering and some unintentionally hilarious kills. This war was avoidable. All Putin had to do was actually grow his economy and give his people bread and circuses. Now their economy is in ruins and is generationally screwed.

1 month ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

"Unintentionally hilarious kills!" Lulz. Love the phrasing. I have seen those, and I laugh, and then my brain is like, 'dude, wtf.' It's weird not being able to reconcile my feelings with my morals. Each passing day, my morals are gradually slinking away with this orc army. Fucking assholes abound. The Zionist soldiers are competing with them to see who can be the most inhumane.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No, i play arc raiders with russians every week. Their economy is pretty far from ruined ... unfortunately. Its gonna take a lot more to ruin them.

I wonder just how cushioned from the effects of the war those Russians are. The wildberries warehouse destructions are making companies lose a lot of inventory/stock and they won't be fully reimbursed for those losses. I'd bet those Russians you play with are Muscovites - people in the cities that Putin wants to touch last.

Seems like similar to how many of the US soldiers think...

1 month ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Was just thinking i remember a bunch of assholes in high school talking the same way.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, like, I don’t think this kid should be given a weapon or the authority to use it, but I don’t think this is indicative of some kind of pathology unique to “the Russian soul.” I went to fuckin’ high school with guys who couldn’t wait to join the marines so they could “go over there and blow away some [racial slur]s.” I think there’s a number of people in any society that think this way, and a sane population would avoid letting those folks have access to weapons.

Fodder.

Raised and slaughtered like cattle.

He's about to have a very bad awful no good day. Likely his last.

And sadly, he's a victim as much as anyone. This was *done to him*.

Man is he gonna be so disappointed for like 3 seconds before he dies.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

this is why i think they should raise the minimum recruitment age to 25 at least. the brain isnt even fully formed and propagandizing young idiots under that age is way too easy. its fucking evil. this idiot isnt even gonna get 4 weeks training before being told to scavenge equipment from corpses and sent in as apart of a human wave tactic.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I think 119 is more appropriate. But everything else, yeah.

Give that dipshit some sunflower seeds before he gets blyatted.

The power of propaganda...

1 month ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

Which is what is you are currently subjected to. If you really think that you are not currently, at this very moment, with this very post being propagandized, you are either dimwitted or are sharing in the effort.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I think there's a little bit of psychopathy lingering there as well. Propaganda doesn't make you want to torture and kill people just because you can get away with it. Generally.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This might be a propaganda video as well

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ultra-nationalist propaganda. See also apartheid israel and the US.

Only that "nazis" thing. The rest seems to be an organic bloodlust and greed

The average life expectancy for a Russian soldier entering battle in Ukraine is 20 to 30 minutes, according to Central Intelligence Agency director John Ratcliffe. Russia has lost half a million soldiers killed since the beginning of its full-scale invasion, with over 1,000 of the Kremlin's troops killed or wounded almost every day. Ukrainian fatalities are roughly one tenth of the Russians.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

A million and a half now - which is the same number of active duty soldiers they started with. Considering that a third of their forces are elsewhere maintaining the stability of the 'federation' that means that... well... they are literally throwing conscripts into a meat grinder. This dumb fuck is going to be sent to the Frontline without pay and be dying within 20 minutes without ever seeing a Ukrainian hero. Dead in a field along with whatever drunks they press ganged that week.

Can we get someone who understands Russian to fact check what he's saying. Or give context to what caused the interview.

Not that I don't believe some people are like this, just that it also plays exactly into stereotypes of Russians. It sounds exactly like the propaganda every nation puts out during wartime of every nation except them.

1 month ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Much of what he said tracks, at least with my imperfect high-school level Russian.

1 month ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

as a native speaker I can tell you that subtitles are accurate, but why trust a random dude online if you can use any voice recognition on a cell phone to check for yourself

1 month ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Not me, but

This is a social site, asking another person's thoughts seems more engaging than using a computer to translate it

Thanks for your input!

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hadn't actually thought of using a voice recognition tool on my phone.

Though honestly having now done both. Asking people online was way easier.

It feels more trustworthy too. If either you, or the other person who has said the captions are legit lied, there would be a dozen people stepping up to point that out. Whereas I don't expect the translator to lie, but the last time I extensively used one it was... very wrong.
