That's what I thought too. Also I wouldn't describe NC as "paradise"

To each their own! This may not be my #1 favorite spot in all of my travels but I definately enjoy the remote quiet areas, great views, and the "smoke" on the mountains. Plus, you should see some of the places I have lived, far from paradise
