last year a few of my friends requested that I should make an Aku costume. But I was already working on a different costume, so it had to wait until this year. I started making this costume in January and recently finished. After months of hard work, it finally paid off. I am going to be handing out candy at the front door, while a CD player plays Aku's ominous background music from the show. Can't wait to spook some kids! Oh, and speaking of kids, during the photo shoot at the park, two young boys were not afraid of me and tried to feed me Smarties and Cheetos.

My only gripe about the costume is that the head is a bit too big, but the foam in the head had to be thick enough to support the weight of the horns. If the foam was thinner, the whole thing would tear under the weight of the horns. So that's why the head is a bit bulky.
