Do you know the difference between a lawful order and a war crime? Accidental tragedy happens in war, one of the many reasons why war sucks. Bad intel and an accident are not the same as intentionally targeting civilians. Looking at you, Russia, and Israel. As a person who went to war and bombed 2 countries. The U.S. never intentionally committed a war crime, though accidents and rogue psychopaths have happened. The new administration, I don't trust, though. They have no honor.

While this is a shitshow, there is a reason why women shouldn't serve in infantry roles including paratroopers. Quite simply it's the same reason we have separated sports. The best physically trained woman cannot stand up to a man with the same conditioning, and that may decide life or death in combat.
However, nothing stops women to be pilots (shorter, better g resistance) or serve in multiple similar combat and non-combat roles.
In a Ukraine level emergency though you take what you can get

maybe for formations that don't require peak physical condition (debatable those should exist but I know soldiers who have atrocious PT) that would work. But not paratroopers, their whole shtick is behind enemy lines with no support, in extreme conditions, over many days.

Whatever physical requirements that exist should be met. Whatever gender. You want someone with outstanding stamina? Chicks got that. Making due with less food? Chicks. The men need to meet metrics. The women must meet the same. Why is this even a discussion?
