Sad part is, I can totally grock this level of pettiness

A ginger could never get that close to the sun

In the end, he was too angry to die.

Remember people, shit like this actually happens. Something can piss of someone so bad they make an agenda to destroy, fix or help.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shows you how a college degree doesn't make you ACCEPT what you're taught.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Adding water to the sun would make it hotter because the H2 would break off from the O and contribute to the fusion reaction.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The water wouldn't even reach the sun.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, hypothetically if you somehow accelerated it enough somehow, but yeah a super soaker wouldn't do it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Blasting the sun with a super soaker would only make the sun stronger as the hydrogen atoms in h2o molecules fused to new elements

Out in the sunshine, the sun is mine, I shot my love today, would you cry for me, yeah?

Keyword here is "achievable" goals, killing the sun in not possible, unless your name is Dr. Tolian Soran

Is this the prequel to Sunshine? v

7 years ago | Likes 981 Dislikes 1

I thought this was a scene from mass effect 2??

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That was 3/4 of a great movie

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was surprisingly pleasant

7 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

Pleasant? Doesn't a guy get burned alive, and eat some people?

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Mmmm, bacon.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To some people...it's a pleasant sight.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The movie? It's a good movie.

7 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

It's an okay movie. I wish they had done more with the premise instead of devolving into a bunch of cliche sci-fi horror tropes.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The first half is a *great* movie, before blindly blitzing into generic slasher territory in the second half.

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

yup.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Whats it called?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sunshine. You goober.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sunshine. (2007)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I didn’t quite understand the end though. If I remember it seemed like there were on top of some giant cube?

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The cube was the fusion material for the sun, iirc it was big enough to have its own gravity

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Fun fact: all matter is big enough to have it's own gravity!

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What movie?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The sequel

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it the surface of the sun ?

7 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Only dream I ever have.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It’s a good movie.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

yes

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and they have to dim the view IIRC? The first mission fails and the window goes to 100%, burns someone, then sneaks aboard the second .

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Something like that. I may be completely wrong.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

its been so long i honestly dont remembre

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good movie, but I'll never watch it a second time because not once did anyone say "It's daylight savings time" and that's unforgivable.

7 years ago | Likes 243 Dislikes 2

Good movie indeed, some of the scenes were chilling.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, that's clear as DAY!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What the fuck? How did they manage to read my mind and make a comic out of it?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cause even they knew that daylight savings is bullshit.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're not wrong, but they didn't even bother to address whether or not they still used the system, another dropped ball.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because in that time they realized DST was stupid and got rid of it

7 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

Was that mentioned in the movie? It's been a long time since I've watched it.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It was not

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

considering they had a space program robust enough to send 2 spaceships capable of surviving the sun, its a safe assumption

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Missed opportunity for sure

7 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Great film but I felt the twist with the muderous guy was poor taste. I wished it stucked to the science of the stuff.

7 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

I kind of appreciated the twist. It was a rare one I really didn't see coming

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I agree. I remember real chills when the ship said there was an extra man on board. I can see both sides but I was a fan

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I did see it coming and like he/she said i wanted to stick to the crazy science stuff. Was still a good watch though

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I respect that. I guess I was more fascinated with the Interstellar kinda aspect; the CGI for sun was great.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sunshine is really underrated. It's such a good movie.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

It's good until it turns into a slasher film for no God damn reason

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I never thought of it that way. But I still do enjoy that movie.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

first half is, anyways.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It’s funny because if it was water he would only extend the life of the sun because he’s adding Hydrogen

7 years ago | Likes 233 Dislikes 10

I bet you’re fun at parties.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also the water would have frozen anyway

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

actually it would brighten the sun but diminished the lifespan as the more mass a star has the sooner it implodes.

7 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Get out

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No that’s a SUPER soaker not a regular soaker. It will blow the sun away.

7 years ago | Likes 257 Dislikes 0

Upvoting for you actually typing "blow the sun away." Not "blow away the sun". I always upvote words in their right places.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Are both not correct?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

How so?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s not about putting out the sun, it’s about sending a message.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Increase the brightness but reduce the lifespan due to the added mass and resulting higher burn rate.

7 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

The candle that burns .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% as bring lasts 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% as long.

7 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

The solar wind would blow all of it away before it even reached the surface.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You think solar wind > solar gravity?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For gasses and plasmas, yes. The Sun is losing mass (far more than fusion can account for), not gaining mass.
