I’ve been lap kitten training my terrified foster kittens. I’ve been telling them they’ll love snuggles. They have finally stated to comply.
This is Taylor loving being my TV buddy.
I took in 11 from a hoarder situation. They were healthy, just not used to people.
Oh no… I’ve created a monster. I live here now. When they ask about me, tell them I was brave.

Corporal Cuddling is essential for kittens from any background to learn good manners, IMO. It does take a balance not to push too hard/fast.

I found that rotisserie chicken helped a LOT with quickly getting kittens used to hooman presence/touch. Without the skin of course.

Yep. These kitten were pretty easy: “NO CUDDLES….wait… they’re warm? I get scritches? Then snacks? Maybe cuddles aren’t so bad.” :D

The Doorway To Good Kitty Life is through treats. Temptations Purrre "push pops" are how I was able to socialize 2 otherwise feral kittens.

It was a rural shelter that took them in, then begged the rescues for some nutcase to take all 11. I was that nutcase. :D 2/2

Blanket snuggles. When they start to become stressed let them leave. Repeat. Gets longer each time because they love the warm snuggles

Do you keep them separate for the first 2weeks? & some cats aren't 'lap cats', that's OK too. They like to hang out in the same room
