Initial lamination of mahogany, walnut and bubinga
First attempt at fretting. Very crutial and probably the most time consuming step as far as levelling and dressing the frets.
Neck carve. Templates built and used at specific parts of the neck, then used shave plane to blend it all and carve the neck
Carving the top with an angle grinder. Also a VERY scary step. Burnt through some spoil boards practicing this part but found the bubinga is so hard that it was easy to carve without making a mistake. It just took a while.
Tru oil. About 12 coats in total by the time it was done.

I used the Gibson scale and built my guitar around that. That way I at least knew it would work.

It was my first try so I knew there would be hammering and levelling, etc. Taped them off afterwards and they were fine.

Very PRS style body, but sexy as hell. I don;t see a Truss rod in the neck, very surprised tbh. Love the contours on the top tho.

There's a truss rod in there. You can see the slot, just never got a photo of the rod sitting in there before I put the fretboard on top.

After a 2nd closer look through, an see there is a truss rod in there, would be very interested to know how easy it was to install and tune

It plays great. Used some heavy wood and it's about as thick as a les Paul. With the humbuckers, it's really beefy. That's what I hoped for

Yes. Routered out the slot, installed a dual action rod and out the fretboard over top of the slot.
