Well, to be fair, there are bears there. So, it wouldn't exactly be safe to go to that playground, and doing so might bring up charges of child endangerment.
I mean, my aunt has them wander through her yard sometimes, and I have encountered them at a garbage bin. Black bears are... typically chill if you don't ger close and you're not a child or small animal. They can be skittish.
Black bears are mostly scavengers and not normally aggressive. They can still be dangerous if you fuck with em, but they'll almost always run rather than chase
They can and do prey on humans but that's realistically unrelated to how absolutely adorable and playful they can also be, lol. A couple lion brothers cuddling is cute AF but they will still eat a bitch, OR hang out next to an SUV. To @papromic though, they're a semi-urbanized animal in places, same as foxes, raccoons, crows etc; they're getting more used to digging through garbage and wandering through suburbs.

About 15 years ago I got to pet a baby bear at the Oswald Bear ranch in the upper peninsula of Michigan it was alive her name was Sam they distracted her with a plastic bottle they had a small lollipop in it while we pet her and got pictures
Yes her & her 2 siblings were rescues, the Oswald Bear ranch is for orphaned bear cubs. At some point they get separated by sex & get to live out their days on a huge ranch & people pay to see them & to feed them
