They're computer controlled manuals. Though allison does make a heavy duty automatic but you rarely seem them for highway trucks.

Deep South Texan here, we get snow once every 10-60 years. Less then one inch shuts down everything, but is alot of fun.

Conversely, it was 78 degrees there and people acted like they would melt if they went outside. It was 113 back in Texas. 78 was heaven.
