Is that a bug or a feature?

How do people deal with having that many quest markers active?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That looks fun. Do me next.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s not a Bethesda without the bugs.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think the physics here is a little screwy.

8 years ago | Likes 307 Dislikes 1

This is perfectly realistic, what on earth could you possibly be referring to?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's called 'a feature' and it's art

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I think the physics here is a little Bethesda* FTFY

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

in skyrim? ive never heard any complaints

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

no, can't you see? The interaction between lightning and frost is so perfect that it lifts and drops the Troll simultaneously, pure screwy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What make you say that ? How can you prove a troll blasted by a dragon scream would not react like that ?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

You don't know that. How many trolls have you frozen solid by shouting at them in real life?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A few, but you're right... It's not enough to be considered a statistically valid sample size. I'm sorry.

Funny thing is he is still alove so he is probably like "I'M SORRY, JUST MAKE IT STOP"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Game calculates fall damage really weird, basically only applies on landing, and when you slow down enough while ragdoll.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which in turn means a lot of drawn out deaths from shouts, bears tumbling down mountains, wishing they would just die already.

I always thought that Ice Troll in the way yo High Hrothgar was a bit overpowered.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think they expected people to spend way longer questing in whiterun before even going to High Hrothgar

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit! That compass bar! DO YOUR MISSIONS FFS!

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Nah, just don't track that many at a time.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To busy playing stealth archer I guess...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Could be a mod called Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers. It gives you over twenty markers simultaneously.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They're too busy collecting more quests to do.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That happens at one part of the main quest.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm confident not a single person knows whether I am right or wrong

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You wind up picking up missions faster than you complete them in almost any playthrough.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also for me personally, I do no fast-travel runs, so I mark all my quests so if im ever nearby one, I know to go do them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do that too, with the exception of offloading loot. Thrn I go right back where i was.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never made it to the graybeards because of that bastard

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I think I avoided him by walking as close to the edge of the cliff as possible

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

have you tried running past him? he wasn't much of a issue to me

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I stealthed past - hug the wall and he's REALLY not a trouble.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lmao, you can just run past

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The pilgrims further on distract the bastard while I get away...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He killed Lydia during my first play through, so I started over because I thought she would be my only companion

I go on lore binges with my friend all the time. We love reading the books in every game to learn everything.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can talk to me about Skyrim lore, I love the game and I'll listen.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wished I could read the books on my hand in Skyrim VR. Sure someone can play "Black Parade" on the piano in Batman VR...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too! I’m currently reading all the books in the Dragonborn dlc, the poison song is really good

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Close but I’m just not ready for godhood.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

what is chim?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's a nickname for the second chin you get when you eat a lot of m&ms.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

To add on to other replies, CHIM gets memed to shit on ES subreddits, especially Morrowind.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In layman's terms, evolution of a mage through magic to a higher existence in the ES universe.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The only group of people/persons that might have achieved it in the ES universe is the Psijic Order. Although it hasn't been confirmed.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A concept from Elder Scrolls that is far too complex to explain through imgur. Your best bet is to read the ES wiki.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just started playing again after a 7 month hiatus due to school, i too shall read all the books!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I watch videos on YouTube by ShoddyCast. He fills in some of the blanks

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool, I’ll check it out.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah I see someone is playing the “stealth” archer, truly a rare breed

8 years ago | Likes 430 Dislikes 5

Berserker khajiit here

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only way to make it interesting in such a simplified combat system. Getting mad snipes and shit is way more fun than mashing m1.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't understand that there are archetype play styles in skyrim, I ended up maxing out literally every tree and learning every spell.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I didn't do it until VR. Pewpewpew

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I play stealth everything and when you have the perk for multiplied bow sneak attacks it’s definitely worth it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you didn’t play as a stealth archer, did you even play Skyrim??

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stealth illusionist! Make them all murder each other and pick off the last one with a throat slice. Muhahaha!

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Stealth conjurer is fun too.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was probably my most effective build, running around as an invisible god

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As some one that always plays archer, and doesn’t pay attention to what other people play is this sarcasm or do people really not play it?

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 1

2/2 stealth archer.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't. I enjoy being a sword swinger.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I enjoyed dual wielding swords. Get your blacksmithing up to make Dragon weapons and you're unstoppable

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sarcasm. When you have to kill like 100 dragons in the game before you get Dragonrend, you want to be able to damage them without magic

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's by far the highest DPS and pretty much the only way you can handle higher difficulty early game. Everyone ends up being a stealth arche

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sarcasm.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

who plays stealtg archer...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In short, almost everyone plays skyrim as an archer, with various degrees of stealth in the mix.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I personally hate the archery and rarely use it

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

stealth archer is pretty much the only playstyle that's interesting at all.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1People gravitate to it because it has potential to deal the most damage. So it's kind or a meme that no matter what you start as you end up

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Most players go for other builds like two handed tank and such but midway through default to stealth archer

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I started out playing as an archer but accidently wound up using mostly heavy two handed weapons

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I managed to stay away from archery by making a full-on mage. I'll be honest though...the bound bow was VERY tempting to begin with.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's useful info, I just bought the game.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Haha enjoy your new life

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tell your wife about your extended sabbatical. You won't see them for about 5 years.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*Everyone* plays stealth archer

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Its probably because the melee system is dated af but the bows are extremely satisfying. Plus it's just super effective.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It basically is what everyone ends up playing.

8 years ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 0

In every Elder Scrolls game.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried it, it was slow-going against early bosses. I beat the game with ease as a 1-handed + shield user, heavy armor.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nahh, I love stealth Archer for the patient game, but pure destruction mage is a barrel of explosive fun.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I nearly always go two axes with heavy armor and a reckless abandon for safety

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s just satisfying. I feel like I’m button mashing when it’s anything else and when I’m magic I just run out and pull a sword out anyways

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Combat is crap in the Elder Scrolls series, which until Skyrim didn't really matter. Yeah I'm gonna play a stealth archer.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Really? I always went with dual wielding both one handed weapons and magic, switching between as needed

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure it's because it's the most powerful build later on in the game

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never got past the 30 hour mark tbh

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I went with sneak, but dual wielding daggers...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

try this: pick breton as your race, and atronach as your standing stone. you magika regen will be screwed, but you will take no damage >>

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0
