From what I could find, it was a Mercedes and it was a medical condition (low blood sugar and fainted). There's probably another video where it's a BMW, but I doubt the whole accelerator stuck thing. Most German cars have floor mounted accelerators, so something would need to get jammed at the top of the pedal or the mechanism itself would have to fail and not bring the pedal back. In the last couple years I've worked at a Toyota dealership, newer models had floor mounted acclerators and it was>

I actually had a stuck accelerator. It was because something of mine had fallen underneath the pedal and when I pushed it, it locked it into a on and constant position. I was able to kick it out from underneath the gas pedal. The stress was real. Also.
