A legit question for y'all out there

So uhm--yeah!

My name is Ellen (known as ThatMuttMarie elsewhere and KamiloDragon here), and I'm a 19 year old girl from Massachusetts! I also draw! A lot!

If you check my previous submissions you'll see what I mean :3

This is Fritz! He's a character I've developed over about 3 years now, with a developed story and personality--truly a creation who's come into his own "living, breathing" state, as all treasured creations do when given the time and effort needed to grow a story of their own.

Starting alllll the way back in 2014 or so when I created my own Team Fortress 2 Medic character, Fritz has gone through many, many stages of development. Oh, the cringe was real....

Here he is starting about a year ago. I was starting to branch off from the TF2 direct influence and was trying to shap him into a more unique OC. Still looks pretty much idenical to the Medic, though...

A few weeks later and he's starting to take his own shape--keep in mind these images are skipping over DOZENS of developmental sketches and ideas. As you can see, Fritz is starting to develop his own sort of characterization--easier noted through the writing and development done off-paper

(That probably sounds stupid since you can't really keep tangible track of it--but when you're as ADD as me, sitting down and writing out every single facet of a character's personality just doesn't make sense, especially given how well I know him inside and out.)

As time wore on he grew from the steretypical "mad scientist german doktor" into a much less extreme and edgy fellow.

His profession changed from radical surgeon to timid accountant.

His penchant for blood and lust for morbid experiments morphed over into an ill-fated love of cooking
and a hapless addiction to booze.

His outward personality shifted away from hyperactive and in-your-face to a more relaxed, laid-back, almost depressed composure.

And finally he shed his labcoat and rubber gloves in exchange for a common layman's green dress shirt and khakis.

Finally I came up with a design that seemed to fit his personality and that was entertaining and fun to draw. This is how the old man was portrayed in my art for a long time, and this right here is his model sheet--a term used in the art world that basically just means a concrete design for colors and proportions that can be used as reference for other pieces, whether by yourself or another artist.

I grew to love his character more and more and tried out different styles, outfits and head shapes, building on top of each different incarnation as they came. Some more broad and toony, other more graphic and refined--but no matter how strangely he appeared, one thing always continued to grow and mutant on its own: his backstory. Be warned, some things have changed--namely dates and names, but you can still get the jist of his story there. ^_^ As for a continuation of his further adventures--well. You'll just have to keep reading.

Right here we have Fritz as his last design fell: a slightly overweight, tired middle aged innkeeper and bartender who's just trying to get by in the Boston backstreets.

Through my writings and musings with friends and whatnot Fritz has developed an ENORMOUS canonical story--even spreading into some silly supernatural nonsense and a brief brush with an agent of espionage. The old drunk has been through more stress than any man deserves--but he always ends up back home in his recliner with a beer in hand by the end of it all.

BUT! There's more!

And now, we come full circle. Back to that first drawing of Fritz, at the top of this post? There he is, as he is now. And hopefully will remain.

Not a LOT has changed from the previous drawing--apart from the fact his sense of style and culture has been taken directly from the mid-1970s...and dropped right back again into our modern day and age. (This happened through a rather hard to summarize plotline which I might further elaborate on if anyone is actually interested.)

I mean come on. Who doesn't love a good Disco Fever dance night? Not many people? Eh, that's fine. He'll boogie it up by himself like there's nothin' wrong.

Anyway.

The whole point of this post (assuming you somehow managed to read through my strange ramblings and still think clearly) is to do two things:

1.) show off something I've devoted a lot of time and effort to out of my own drive to create and develop,

and

2.) find out if there's ANYONE out there who would actually read a comic or serial story chronicling Fritz's strange misadventures, if I were to buckle down and make one.

So....yeah. That's it. TL;DR: I'm dorky teenager who has a character she wants to write some kind of story about, would it interest anyone?
