Meet Cinder everyone!

She was abandoned by her mother in the driveway outside of the barn. She wasnt eating as was just skin and bones and eyes crusted shut. She is roughly 4 weeks old... way too young to be away from mama

Local kitten and puppy saviour Tammy got the call and rushed over. Cinder had only a couple hours at most to live.

She was covered in lice and fleas from the barn but she is a fighter. Tammy knew we wanted a black female kitten as a friend for our older cat so she called us right away

We took her home and started rehab with eyedrops and baths. At first she protested but soon found the warm water to be soothing and reliving to her bites

At first Cinder didnt want to eat...probably due to her small stomach.... but her appetite soon came roaring back

Nap time after bath.... dinner and grooming.... she actually started cleaning herself!

Quick visit with the vet to make sure she is doing as well as we think... and she is! No fleas or lice....

48 hours at her new home and she is doing a million percent better. Will update when she meets the current cat in our house.... he is very curious :)
