I'm red-green color blind.
These two images look identical to me.
But now I can see colors!
I made an app that uses my phone's camera to shift colors so I can see them better. I didn't realize there were so many colors!

The app shifts the reds and the greens farther away, making them easier to differentiate, but it doesn't actually fix colorblindness.

The review mentioning it doesn't read out gray is misinformed. Gray is a value, not a hue. It takes on hues from light sources. App is fine.

If you have access to Photoshop (or dl a trial): add hue/saturation adjustment, select red channel, drag hue around and see what happens.
