Most people don't wear large complex costumes for more than a few hours. It takes a decent amount of physical endurance. For my part, I don't like risking burning out early in the con, so I pace myself pretty carefully when doing a cosplay that's in any way taxing.

Interestingly enough, the diving knife is 100% fake and 3D printed. HOWEVER, all the wingnuts on the helmet are molded and cast from a real brass desco diving helmet wingnut.

There’s just a couple little things to fix. I’m going to be casting the drill out of a lightweight expansion foam and then putting it back together, doing some tweaking to tighten the left arm, making the grey patch on the left arm a little smaller, and then just making some new belts for the legs and groin area.

Hey! So I see through the camera on the top of the helmet, it is indeed a real camera. The knife is totally fake and was 3D printed in resin by me :)

That one, if I recall, is reversible, there's a switch for reversing it in the suit's hand.

It will also spin the other way with just the flip of a switch. It’s all up to me if I want to look like I’m attacking or if I just got finished with attacking and then pulling the drill out of the splicer. Because of the way I was standing, I wanted it to look like that it was coming out, so all I have to do if I wanted to look like I was on the attack is switch it, and it will spin the other way too!

No, they were rated just right, which is amazing. Minerva's Den is probably the second best DLC of all time, after Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

I have always genuinely preferred 2- the forst one was amazing, but the story of 2 just felt so PERSONAL, and that good ending made me weep

Shouldn't the screw spin the other way? The threads should move from the tip up towards the base, thus pulling the drill into the material. Or is it reversible?

I see a lot of these cosplay cutting devices go backwards, possibly to avoid them getting stuck on things.

It totally can! It literally just switches with a little switch on my hand. All I have to do is press it, and it will go the other direction as well. I can control the speed too! :)
