I have *never* seen that kind of ear on a cat before. Looks like it's half basset hound.

Your cat is broken

This cat breed is called an Oriental Shorthair. Usually the ears are indeed large, but not floppy like this one's are.

HIS EARS!!!! I shall call him Dumbo!

Stop breeding cats.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Domestic cats have more genetic diversity than dogs because we haven't bred them selectively for as long. Cats don't generally suffer from the same congenital defects that dogs are prone to.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

There are many unhoused cats it is a waste of resources, reducing genetic diversity, treating animals like an accessory, the list goes on. It's dumb and fucked and cats are great as they are.

There are a few cases like the persian cat. I never understood how people preferred the shortened nose cats, poor lil fellas going in the same direction as bulldogs. I hate how much effort breeders put into reducing genetic diversity. Thankfully, it is like you say, you still have a huge variety of domestic cats breeding naturally. I just love voids.

Is that the Adam Driver breed?

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Yes, the Oriental Shorthair.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not sure if it's the Adam Driver, and don't call me breed

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

All I know is a Phillips driver, but that's not important right now.

For the young people who don’t know, this is from the TV show The Flying Nun, about a nun so lightweight on an island so windy that she is able to fly around thanks to the giant wimple on her head and fight crime.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this ai?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

AI sucks at making video; the frames would be constantly morphing I think. So my guess is no.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

This particular clip? I dunno. But the breed of cat is real!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

With those ears? How is that possible?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It grows into them? ...Sort of? They get pointy! Oriental shorthair, I think is the breed.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ok, thank you. Now I'm wishing it was ai because we all see what happened to dogs when they got breeded so far that they're mostly sickly with all kinds of hereditary issues like joint and breathing problems, and now people are doing it to cats by breeding weird qualities into them.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looked into it a little and they seem to be an offshoot of siamese cats? So, they can have similar cat ailments, but nothing as critical as, say, a flat-faced breed.
