Feral Kittens and their Mama the first day we found them.
Started feeding them every day. It took over 2 months before the kittens trusted us enough to touch and handle them
We trapped Mama and had her Spayed returned her to the barn and we are still feeding her everyday.
We moved the feeding dish closer to the house and then the back porch.

Adult ferals are almost impossible to socialize. Realistically, 6 months of age is the limit. Sauce: I've rescued ~50 street cats in 3 yrs

Also after a period of time the mom will reject her kittens and separate from them. Im sure mama cat is happy and well fed in the barn

Some feral cats will simply refuse to be house cats. If mom is happier being a barn cat (also doing a job), then she's better off.

Look up TinyKittens, who rescue feral cats and TNR or rehab them into house cats. They rescue large groups of kittens from the same colony.

Absolutely they do. A shelter near me offers traps for TNR and refunds the deposit when the traps are returned undamaged.

Call the SPCA or a no kill shelter to come pick them up. Either catch and release after spaying/neutering, or they may find homes for them.

Make some cat houses with sturdy boxes and old towels. Trap spay/neuter the cats if you can.

No towels/blankets :( They don't keep heat in very well! Use hay, as counterproductive as it seems.

Obv talk to your vet so they're prepared for ferals. Nothing like thinking a cat's just vet-scared only for them to launch @ your face.

A shot will knock them out, then vet does snip snip. Then clip ear so no-one else try's to spay/neuter. Do it, or have dozens in 2 yrs.

Mine raised her kittens to be ferals, I had to take her litters away and inside to keep them from going feral.

I never found my cat's mother. Was just a box of 4 kittens. Two were dead and one died of pneumonia later. It was only the runt thatsurvived

They were probably dumped in the box, which is sad because it's not hard to find a good cat a home.
