I have no problem with the spider as long as they stay off me and my bed.
The only problem I have eventually, is that spider is going to spawn at some point and really dont need to trade some bugs for a spider infestation.

If you're curious, the game in the background is Hive. Fun, decently competent single player RTS with a bit of an identity crisis. Genuine recommendation: If you play it, skip the intro, just fully skip the cutscene. You'll enjoy the game more.

No, the story itself is also decent, there's just a weird disconnect between it and the intro which literally has NO BEARING on the story except for setting up context for a twist at the ending (not even a twist ending, just a twist that happens during the ending) that.... actually works just as well without the intro. Hell, better.
