I need distractions. Today sucked. Probably the worse day this year. Sharing pics of a nice 45 minute escape from an otherwise stressful trip to Chicago.

When to the Field Museum. Had to catch a flight back home that morning but managed to get up early enough to show up upon the opening.

Today: My car broke down this morning after an oil change and a whole state away from work.

I was going to drive my mother and sister down to VA so that they can see my nieces and nephew for a week, but looking like not so much now.

The earliest my car can be looked at is next week and rentals are around $700 with payday being four days away. Of course, due to me paying some medical bills, I have about $35 to last me until then.

Things just suck right now at work and I'm overwhelmed with my workload and I am concerned that no one will cover me work.

I'm also feeling very lonely and betrayed by someone I thought was a close friend. This person just stopped speaking to me altogether.

I want to tell this person things that will hurt them in similar ways, but it hurts me more knowing that I have those thoughts.

There is a good chance that my brain is overthinking stuff since I have not been able to refill my antidepressants.

Sorry for the rambling. This is Sue. She was an awesome sight and the highlight of my year.

On a light note, I decided to put myself out there in a dating app and nonstop messages. They are all bots. Typical luck. Lol.

On the plus side my friend/co-worker drove two hours to pick me up. I guess misery loves company and wants me go to work tomorrow. Thank you, dude. He is a good guy. Thank you for your time and maybe I just need food and sleep.
