If it hit the original target off center, it would change the trajectory of the next bolt, and before you know it, it's now 10deg off target

No. It wouldn't have change the trajectory. The direction of the second arrow is fixed. The arrow before it either hits or doesn't.

Look at the frames moving as soon as they get hit. The last 6 bolts are aimed to hit perfectly center, if the first doesn't get hit perfect
