A Day in the Life of Car Sales

So I work at a car dealership, and I tell you what-it is never a dull moment. Previously I have seen a falcon, been threatened with firearms, and so on. It's a trip. But I want to tell you a story about what happened not too long ago. Rescuing a kitty. I was walking past this vehicle and I heard some meowing coming from one of our vans. Upon further inspection, it was under the headlamp housing, but sitting perfectly fine.

Obviously not wanting to have any harm come to the little guy, we attempted to flush it out. The crafty little guy ended up jumping out (absolutely petrified) and skittered off down the lineup. In an effort to coax it out, we went and bought soft cat food and set it out like this. Fast forward an hour, and we still didn't find the little dude-but I couldn't stop looking because I didn't want anything bad to happen to him.

After all that time, climbing under cars, looking through tall brush, and making meowing noises to get him to respond, I finally made visual contact with the little bastard. But unfortunately, he still evaded me. It was after this that he darted farther back in the depths of the lot.

Eventually we got the little guy, he had propped himself up between an engine and the hood of a Chevy Equinox. He was covered in grime and dirt, but was healthy, just a little freaked out.

Yours truly with the little guy, a little before we gave him up to a coworker's mother to live out the rest of his days in a much better environment than a car dealership's lot.
