This thing popped up first around 1820 in Pine Barrens, New Jersey. It seemed to have some native american origins and has been since periodically ever since, and hilariously is said to have the body of a kangaroo, a forked tail, a goat head, clawed hands, bat wings, and tiny lil adorable cloven hovesies.

Man wolf is real people

Man wolf has the body of a wolf and the fearsome head and teeth of a man who hasn't brushed in a while. I saw it in my backyard once and my brother claims I was just drunk and that it was my own stink dog.

Half jackrabbit, half antelope, all hate. Its sort of a dorky amusing thing that sprung up when Douglas Herric and his brother in the 1930's started grafting deer antlers on jackrabbits and selling them, but rabbits with horns on them have popped up in art and stories since the 13th century. There's also a weird virus called shope papilloma (SPV) that can give a rabbit weird horn like growths on or near the critters head (they look like rabbits that drank WoW's felblood and got all demony)
