If you use US plugs just snap off the ground pin like everyone else. You can also plug 2 in 1 socket (4 in one duplex) if you're brave.

Technically, they just extended the + and - ends. But the ground plug not going to ground is... not good. Fixable, unless it catches fire.

Also as an electrician: the inside prongs still go where they need to, and the outside prongs are not connected. Its not grounded though...

At this point it's practically safer to wrap the prongs in aluminum foil and stick them in the outlet. At least you'd have a ground.

How would they? The top and bottom adapter prongs aren't connected to anything. The extra prong on the plug is a ground.
