Then it'll shoot out of the ground and the earth will boom "DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED."

I mean, good joke and all, but it's not the inventor of the USB stick, it's the committee that developed the standard-A connector.

The USB-IF Forum. Don't know how they feel about a mass burial.

Truly a universal serial bus.

I worked at a cemetery. It sucks when the strap gets stuck under the casket and you have to remove it by hand while the family watches.

Solution: Burn em

"Why does everything bad happen to me? This is the worst day ever."

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What? What country is this? Here in 'Murica the casket doesn't go down until after everyone has left.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Florida. Burial laws vary wildly from state to state; sometimes even from county to county.

And if they don't leave? You gonna tell people they have to leave the cemetery so you can throw dirt on their loved one?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't visualize this. The strap used to lower the casket? Like how do you remove it? Climb down in the hole?

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Yes. You stand on the edges of the vault, straddling the casket. Hopefully, you can wiggle the strap loose without touching the casket.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

You start kicking the casket until the strap loosens

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

How expensive is the strap? Can you just f it and leave it?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

lol No. a: Its part of a costly mechanism. b: Most people wouldn't want that left in there with their loved-one. c: Might be illegal.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I remember a funeral where one of the straps was just dropped in because it was stubborn. There was no costly mechanism involved.
