The sad truth is if you are much taller than both your parents it is often because they were malnourished in childhood.

No wonder he's got strong healthy bones!!!

"the milk man is shorter than me and the paperboy is 8" - a friend(5'3")s response after my drunk uncle said his kid would be tall.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

biggest ahole tho

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Sometimes you do just hit the genetic lottery. Get all of moms and dads genes that positively impact height. And you can be TALL

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh no

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sad fact - his father was murdered by two guys while stealing his car

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My wife pays a monthly retainer to our pool cleaner and we don't even have a pool

ask him if he had anything to do with his father's untimely demise.... get back to me.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Wait what?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gambling debts. Wouldn't pay, mob killed his dad. NBA made him step away. Why he went and played baseball for a few years.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Right. I knew most of that. Just not the mob killing his dad. Thanks.

I'm enjoying the new ESPN doc on MJ so far. Two episodes are on Netflix for anyone interested.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And 6 more leaked online but with annoying espn and Mandalay entertainment watermarks... I am without a doubt, the worst pirate ever!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But now I can say "I've heard of you".

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, I appreciate this post cause even in coronatine I'm lazy/"working from home." That was my era for sure, 90s... So thanks.

I'm a foot bigger than both of my parents. That's life. I hope.

6 years ago | Likes 245 Dislikes 1

I had a friend with 2 brothers, all 3 were around 6'6", both parents were barely over 5', genetics is potential, nutrition is important

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The genetics of human height is very complex and we don’t even understand it all yet. Jokes aside, paternal height is not that important.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm 7 inches taller than my dad, but his pictures when he was my age look exactly the same as I do

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was told I'll never get taller than 5'6".... I'm now over 6 feet tall

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I look exactly like my dad, but I'm a good foot taller than both him and my mom. Don't worry, it's life.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dad is 5'10 and my mom is 5'3. I'm 5'1 and I'm the tallest of my three sisters by at least 2 inches.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 7 inches taller than the next tallest person in my entire extended family. Im 5'6" tall. It could have been worse though

6 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

I don't mean to make offense.. but are you from a family of "little people" or "dwarves"? Honestly, IDK the right term-Whats the right term?

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Lol no. Asians

6 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

That's what I said. Lol, jk.

6 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Every person in your family is under 5'? Damn yall short

6 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Bunch of Hobbits.

6 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Buddy from work is 6'11", barely doesn't have to duck under doors. Said his dad is 6'2" and his mom is 6'0".

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most doors are 6'8"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So they are says google. Maybe the ones at work at 7'. Thise are the only doors I see him pass through.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nutrition and probably some of the hormones in modern food. My brothers and I are all 3-5" taller than dad, and he's 6'0". Mom is 5'5"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks milk lobby!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, that's normal. Eye color, height, and hair color are polygenetic traits (can essentially be anything). The probabilities are just lower

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like this comment and all the responses to it are just people realizing their "dad" isn't their biological dad LOL

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've got 6" on my dad, my brother's got 2" on me. It sucks being so tall sometimes.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I hear you man. Everyone thinks it must be so great

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

....I've got back and knew problems. I'm 24

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

28. My back problems are due to a work injury, but I'm also really light for being so tall, so I might have an advantage in the knees 1/

Kobe was better. Change my mind.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 21

his not even close. change my brain

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Kobe's best season ('02-'03) was his 30-7-6 with 2.2 steals on 45% FG. MJ's ('88-'89) was 32.5-8-8 with 2.9 steals on 54% FG

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

MJ lead the league in scoring 10 times. Kobe twice. MJ lead in PER, Win Shares, & VORP at least 7 times each. Kobe never lead in any

500 years? ... My mom- she only dates guys with occupations that no longer exist." -Gary Gulman

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

My parents live next to someone who still gets milk delivered, to this day. Well, maybe not during the pandemic, but this year at least.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m 27 and remember my grandparents getting milk delivered behind the door when I was little. Everyone on our street did

Isn't he like 6'4"?

6 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 3

He was listed as 6'6" by the nba, but they probably skew height a bit who knows

I don't get it

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They were jawing at each other all game, so Jordan makes the free throw with his eyes closed.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He's showing off by closing his eyes as he throws, showing off specifically for the best player on the opposing team.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

And a player who struggled with foul shots.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

They say LeBron is the greatest BB player of all time. Apparently the people saying that don't know who MJ is!

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

You ever see something so disrespectful but so baller at the same time?

6 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 0

Disrespect to get respect.

Best sports moment of my life ever. I never lost my mind like that again. Odd to say, but true. -philly native

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Those were great playoffs. Sizers versus raptors that year was epic too.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s definitely what he’s known for

6 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Hmm... He would leap from the top of the key and dunk it. He was known for air... Air of all variations, I think. He defied.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like when he would tell you how many he was about to drop on you then did it.

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Like straight out Telling Malone if he came back and got a Ship it wouldn't matter cause it wasn't against him.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Ronnie O'Sullivan got rebuked for playing a left handed shot. His opponent (Alain Robidoux) complained and he went Infront of the governing

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Body, he played former world semi finalist Rex Williams over three frames with his weaker left hand and won all three. He has 15 maximum

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Breaks and famously asked "how much prize money for a maximum" got told the amount, he thought it was paltry and took the pink instead

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

His brother in the Army (my former Command Sergeant Major) was also rather short.

6 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 2

5 8... normal height but a lot shorter than his brother

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I suppose that was notmal, but I'm 6 even, so it was weird to physically look down on him while I metaphorically looked up.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your command sergeant major was MJs brother??

6 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Yes I also wish to know more...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Retired command sergeant major James Jordan Jr. Don't ever ask him about his brother.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Is he tired of hearing about him, or does he outright dislike his brother?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Never had a convo about it, but scuttlebutt was he hated his bro.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Not even close to being true. I know James, he now works for the Charlotte basketball team that Michael owns.
