My daughter is 17, and, thankfully, has a good head on her shoulders. But her losing access to essential healthcare options, because we live in a red state, infuriates and terrifies me.

if you can afford it, emigrate to somewhere less fascist.

Time to move out of a red state then

I really want a second child and at 10week 5 day of pregnancy I learn that my feotus stop living around 6 and that I need 1/2

A abortion because my body don't want to exploser it by itself. So at almost 12weeks I got some medication to do the trick. It was a 2/3

Nightmare knowing I have my death baby inside me for over a week.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is traumatizing. I hope you have a chance to heal and breathe. So sorry for your loss.

This oddly matches a tattoo I have. Would it be weird to get this tattooed?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think it would be awesome!

If either of you feel like you need to go camping, I'm sure we can arrange a good trip.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just to be clear: people with a good head on their shoulder can also get pregnant and be in need of an abortion

4 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Doesn't matter to them, one mistake is as good as 10,000.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Leave that shithole called US.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Thing is, abortion procedures are the necessary methods go help after a miscarriage or other types of "failed pregnancies" when the body

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

can't get rid of everything itself & needs medical intervention before infection/sepsis starts.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So you can be pro-life & still require what is *technically* an abortion procedure to save your life. Will that still be protected or nah?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every single thing happening right now makes me sad, what’s worse is I can’t do shit about it

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a protest in my town today that she and I are going to. And I'm going to vote like my fiance's and daughters life depends on it.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My son was born in March he was an abortion ban baby I couldn't access a clinic in time in Texas love him but life is so much harder now

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you for sharing your story. And I'm glad you've found some joy in spite of a difficult situation.

Hey, you can do it and it's "Just tourism"!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hi. Did we all notice the tampon wick? Sorry. Don't mean to make light of the most serious of situations. But the artist is; *Italian hands*

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need this on a tshirt!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It doesn’t matter that she “has a good head on her shoulders.” Sometimes abortions is necessary, even for great moral/logical reasons.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Vote. Vote like your life depends on it. Because it does. Vote in every primary.

4 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 3

You can do more than vote - www.runforsomething.net

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely vote, but don't *just* vote. Just voting alone won't prevent this shit from happening again. Organize.

I have a niece who's 10. I'm thankful we're in MD but if she ever moves out of the state I worry.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Head on her shoulders or not everyone can make mistakes. Even honest ones. And contraceptives fail

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

True that. Her mother and I have a very open relationship with her. She knows that we have her back. Whatever she needs.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

All you can do for now. That and have a plan incase something does happen

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Set up a travel fund if you can afford it. Even a wanted pregnancy can require an abortion.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe university in another country is the solution... let her go abroad. For example germany. Free university and good healthcare

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She'd love to go to France. And she's a hell of an artist in this dad's eyes.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you thought about Canada?

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 3

As an American, I've been thinking of Canada more and more each day.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

As a Canadian, liquor costs more. But Alberta is cheap. Everywhere else is expensive. We have a big housing crisis. But if you have money.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That is not a solution. Do you really want another authoritarian regime with nukes, especially one on your border? 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I understand the sentiment of wanting to leave but it will just make it easier for the nutjobs to success if all the sane people leave.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! But even starting the process is out of a public school teacher's reach financially.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a Canadian: fix your country.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

We’re considering it heavily.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually have. (I have a claim to citizenship as my mother holds dual citizenship) not currently feasible for us, but I would enjoy it.

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

It's just a form to fill out. Come on up, we'd be happy to have you.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

So jealous of people that have that option

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do ya guys need a seamstress, leatherworker, sign maker, Jack of all crafts? I also know some welding and woodworking too.

Abortion became immediately illegal in many states today.

4 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

Here in Michigan, we had a law from the 30s which came back into effect today. Due to gerrymandering, we have never had a pro-choice

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

governor and a pro-choice legislature at the same time.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most were trigger laws that take 30 days to come into effect.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

RvW put the protection at a federal level. Removing it puts it in the hands of states, and several were just WAITING for this chance. Sick.

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

More than several

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and for those who dont alrdy know, states literally had laws that said “when RvW is overturned this law goes into effect and abortion is ban

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

like they wrote it into law in advance, just waiting.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Safety first, always cap/cork your bottles!

4 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 4

Aren't you supposed to tie the rag to the side and cap the bottle partially full so it breaks easy and actually ignites?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fill ot full, more fuel is best. Use a thin bottle like a beer bottle, not a champagne bottle

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Additionally use storm matches (see original design of Molotov Cocktail) Won't go out and a hell of a lot safer when coupled with a cap.

I feel like a celebrity commented on my post! Fiance and daughter spin fire also! Love your posts!

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Hardly a celebrity haha

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I should watch that movie again.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I should too!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats awesome you have some fire spinners in your life! What props and what part of the world. I know lots of pissed off fire ladies 1/

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

after this decision!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

She does color guard for marching band, so she is quite proficient in the spinning department.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Midwest, and mostly just short staff right now. They are both a bit out of practice, but my daughter will often spin some.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's great! Double staves are one of my favorite props. Have they ever considered a fire/flow festival? Great place for workshops/practice
