Steampunk For imgur

925,- Sterling silver with brass and steal clockwork parts. I Made it for imgur and because of the high request i will put it on e-bay.

Ok here we go, i startet to melt the metal down and cast it into a sheet.

i rolled the metal sheet down and bended with tongs the rough image of the basic ring

After soldering it together i hit it with the hammer to get a round shape.

see? very round and fancy !

this is after the first sanding. i need to get off the oxid layers from the heating.

now i saw and file out a gap for the clockwork parts. tiny silverdust all over the place. but it will be collected for the next melting.

From this beautis i will get my clockwork parts :D

All carefully removed !

At this point its all about patience, i solder every gear individually to the ring, which is brutal work because they are tiny and got a very low melting point .

I use "Pariser Oxid" for the black colour between the gears. It reacts with the silver and builds up a thick natual black oxid layer.

All polished and done :) i hope you like the final produkt ! All togather it took me a 8 hours work day to finish it.
