Our German shepherd hated sleeping in beds except when there was thunder, then he'd open my door and jump into bed and lay on me, then fart.

I don't think I've smelt my shepherd fart. My other dog, the mutt, doesn't stop. She lets out these little squeakers and then turns away.

Change your dog's diet. If he's farting a lot and it smells very bad, you can probably fix that

Cheap food doesn't have to be bad. Like humans, it's every dog unto himself. Some of them are gourmet, some are happy with No Name Brand

Best dogs ever. After they are older than 2 lol. Be a calm, strong alpha for a happy dog. They will make you better in the process.

Good luck, please socialize your pup. They get really protective if you don't and can be hostile towards other dogs. They love you that much

Chow german shepherd owner here. Farting non existent. Hip dysplasia to the max. Super smart loving and protective except all bark no bite.

Depends on the dog's personality - some are fine if left alone. Mine's like that, he prefers humans/cats to other dogs!

Extremely intelligent, loyal and BIG, he's as gentle as a kitten when playing with our other two dogs, a Papillion and a Chihuahua. 2/?
