I love wearing a mask. I'm far more handsome when you can't see 80% of my face, done wonders for my self confidence.
GrassssssssTastesBad
Right? So good
sol8anazi
I love wearing a mask. This is prime time for people with ugly faces.
Smagalicious
Masks are so convenient! I can now tell people to fuck off in real time without the repercussions.
Dapsters
Masks also makes it harder for the gooberment to track you
dickbutttt
plus now i can feel like a ninja
cassylovescats
I like that I have to try less with my appearance because half is covered anyway, I add a hat and I’m great to go
pppppppppppppppppp23
So now I can walk into the adult toy store without feeling mounds of embarrassment.
lls yes
TwerkingLurker
Bought some spices the other day from curbside pickup. Coworker was there. He has no clue who I was. I felt incognito.
Kwalaberg
And you can save money by not having to put on makeup as often!
saphire4higher
I will say it's a lot easier to yawn or smile at socially inappropriate moments.
randtasm
It's only a mask people, it's not like they're asking you to wear a Raiders jersey...
They could get good again one day..And its 2020 where nothing you thought would happen has so if there was NFL I bet theyd win the SuperBowl
GullahGullahIslander
Faces for radio for the WIN! :))

Mine too, Samantha...mine too
icarusbird02
Masks primarily protect *others* from disease. Why is that distinction lost on so many people?
HonestCommentFarmer
Nobody cared who I was until I put on the mask, pooped on the statue, then threw my poop at passersby while yelling Cranberries lyrics.
Ryanator50
living in Canada, I used to love any excuse to wear a balaclava mask and sunglasses. Hated when people recognized me.
MarkOfTheCovenant
"I can't breathe" like, guess what tf happens to you if you get Covid, you dipshit.
cakeycakes
I have anxiety and when I first put a mask on I feel like I can't breathe, but in like 10 mins I barely notice the difference.
It also helps with my anxiety after the fact as I feel more hidden. I will probably wear a mask always when out even after this shit is over
I'm certainly adopting the custom of the rest of the world and wearing one if I so much as have a mild cough and I'm in public.
Teaelf
Add a ballcap and you are practically in a Marvel movie.
Alfa799
As the tallest (6'6") guy in town, anonymity is rare.
MarioBoon
These hardcore Muslim women knew the deal a long time ago

I prefer soft core FWIW
ochermes28
They didn’t have much of a choice.

Neither do we...
Rangerbobby
It's easier for me to make money now that I'm wearing a mask and sunglasses
Bunhyung
Do you wear a Balaclava in the winter?
jdcream
I started carrying a knife incase of muggings. My success rate has skyrocketed
lovingspace
Are you the mugger or the muggee?
IChangedMyNameForThis
Yes
cringancustoms
Hahaha cashier be like well he had a power rangers face mask on and little beady eyes and the hair I’m not sure cause they had a beanie cap
CatTranslator
Lemme guess: your work requires guns and running?
Lovethesmelloftoastedsourdoughbread
And seeds from Colombia and Mexico...
KentDA
When everyone wears a mask, you have less details to describe the guy who mugged you. Masks have social downsides to think about.
I mean usually a mugger is hiding their face anyway.......
nemobla
Masks dont protect you from them, but them from you.
eyekunt
If it's n95, it works both ways. If it's regular masks, then what you said.
SomeDetroitGuy
Little of the first, a lot of the second.
The701
Looks like it's both: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/27/health/coronavirus-mask-protection.html tl;dr: There's evidence that if you get
less of SARS-CoV-2 in you, the symptoms can be less severe, including all the way to being asymptomatic.
prozacfish
Yes and no. Masks don’t work so well when you’re 6’4” and 230lbs.
ZombiesAndZoos
They do if you get the right size mask. Order a custom made one if your face is broad. You can find them for $5.
What I mean is when one is large, a mask does little to create anonymity.
chunkymasa
same for my husband, i found a few custom xl/big and tall masks and now he's totally on board with masks
EmailFail
I'm happy masks have been normalized. Looking forward to not getting sick so often as a commuter train rider.
Quit licking the handrails that will reduce your risks too
I wonder what's going to happen to rates of colds and flu in places with high mask usage, if there'll be an easily-detectable difference.
Zorbasasbestoslinoleumcafe
Me too! Never heard anyone echo my sentiment till this moment.
YesItIsMyRealName
Already has been radically lower cold/flu numbers here in Aus - where it is still winter, BRRRR
camn333
Haven't been sick since February when quarantine began where I live. No flu or anything else. Flu season here came and went.
Anecdotal, but I’ll take it under consideration
AnticlockwiseMetamorphosis
Yep. Every June like clockwork I get a terrible head cold, but as of now I haven't been sick since October.
Ulthirm
Legitimately we've discovered that if we spread the concept that wearing your mask and a beanie means you can hide earpods (not typically
allowed at our warehouse, but you know) very well and the manager isnt going to bother checking, then people suddenly started wearing their
masks consistently. I need me some teachers to send me the tricks they use to convince children into behaving because apparently that
bullshit works with adults too.
Fun fact, I've never properly learned German but I know some words by proximity and often when processing out sentences in my head I'll
think of a word in the wrong language and have to correct myself and when I thought of "Bullshit" I actually thought of the German
