Lending a Hand

Hey, imgur! I'm part of an awesome club at the University of Florida that 3D prints and gives out prosthetic devices

So we create hands like this

And give them to deserving kids like Abi

We even paired up with a local charity to put on a hand camp

Prosthetics can be expensive for a lot of youths because they outgrow them so frequently

We want to make sure they all get a chance to use assistive devices

So we assembled a team, and decided to make it happen

And now we pair up with youths throughout Florida, show them how to assemble and use their devices, and teach them about the process and how cool STEM can be

In addition to hands and arms, we also custom design awesome stuff like this kayak paddle grip attachment
