That impulse to try to stop the waters.

Shelves fall to ground breaking all bottles. Worker: I quit! Bye!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's an expensive fuck up.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Correction, clean up in isles 3 through 5

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

“TASTE THE RAINBOW!”-shelf probably

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I need a version with sound. I have to hear the cacophony of carnage

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I quit ✌

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd volunteer to clean up so I could keep as many unbroken bottles as I could

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s a lot of damage!

Looks lika a combination of cheap shelving, not securing to the wall, etc properly & going above max weight limit

No joke had this happen to me working at a Walgreens liquor department... I smelled like jug wine for a week...

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wonder what caused that? Usually there's a forklift involved.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Quick, get a straw! 3 second rule must be longer for booze!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone didn’t anchor the shelves correctly.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s why IKEA gives you the cardboard and tacks for the back of your shelves

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Now someone reverse it

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I can't be worried about that shit. Life goes on, man.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unrelated to what is happening, why is the security camera mounted to the back of a drunk bumblee? I assume an idiot filmed monitor w phone

Party Foul.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was this an earthquake? Cause it doesn’t even look like anyone touched it.

7 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I don't have a source but I remember a this from a couple years back. I think a car hit the other side of the wall. Again no source

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I have no source, but worked in a bottle shop, and those shelves have to carry more than a literal tonne of weight. Just gave up I reckon.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I think it's just not bolted to the wall and with insufficient supports carrying too much weight. It just finally lost the battle.

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Will there be a rematch?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"... I QUIT!"

Fuck that.

When God is trying to tell you to quit drinking...

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

God can piss off then

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whoever put that together was drunk.

7 years ago | Likes 665 Dislikes 5

Probably my cousin, PermanentlyShitfaced.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Leave me alone you're drunk!!!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sure it wasn't an earthquake? I mean the camera is shaking...

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He was fity much protaly fit shaced

7 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 3

Weird.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The video. Yes. They tried to make a landscape video portrait. wtf...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i think those two girls were about to shoplift a bottle

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 17

The companies’ anti-theft tactics needs improvement.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Wtf? Like why? They aren't being suspicious and don't have anything to carry it out in. Also an employee is RIGHT THERE.

Damn you must have great vision if you can tell that shit from this absolute quality 4k footage right here. Cause I just see girls lookin

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i knew kids in high school that did this every single weekend, by stuffing it in their jacket. they're watching the employee like kids watch

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

teachers before cheating on tests

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Wow...that was expensive!

7 years ago | Likes 965 Dislikes 1

Same price as a regular cocktail, just more of it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep! Them girls gonna need new shoes.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

5 million worth of wine

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The smell would never leave.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Nothing like the smell of booze in the mourning...

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Booze does often accompany mourning.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Exactly my thought. We're old.

7 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 2

Realistic

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also old

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you think Insurance would cover that

7 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Yup

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Probably, but maybe not due to negligence.. Doesn't look like the shelving was adequately secured to the wall.

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Damn were old

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yup.. You want another confirmation of that... There are 19 year olds that were born in the year 2000 and 9/11 is literally history from...

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Before their time to most kids currently in school.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shelving should have been secured to the wall and it looks like it wasn't anchored to the ground.

7 years ago | Likes 372 Dislikes 3

It could have also been cheap material

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The front fell off.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was in Walmart early one morning and they had all employees on either side of an aisle with pry bars moving the aisle in coordinated moves

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OK captain hindsight.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

20/20

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Had the same sorta thing happen with water bottles at work. Busted all the shelves and spilt a ton of water

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's Ceam shelving. It's designed not to need bolting to the wall, but if it's assembled/used incorrectly, all structural integrity is lost.

7 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Yep. Shelving like this can be picked up (very carefully and with a specific tool) and moved without removing the product.

7 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Looking at it on bigger screen, it looks like they used mixed systems, some of it is Ceam, but they used something else as well, not good.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was part of a similar comment chain!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never heard of Ceam Shelving. I know that some Maddix shelving can be set up without bolting to the wall but still needs to be anchored

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's one of the most widely used shelving in retail everywhere. I think it's an Italian company.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought that one lady trying to push it back was gonna get buried. Who do you think you’re playing?

7 years ago | Likes 278 Dislikes 5

Lucky the guy stood up too.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As somebody who works with chemicals, getting rid of your instinct of catching a sample when it falls, is difficult as fuck.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I once tried to do the same with a pallet of dog food bags taller than i am (I am 6'4, the pallet was probably 8 feet) long as you grab 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

the top and walk with it as it goes down youll get clear even if you cant catch it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did it as a kid in school when a lunch table started falling out of the wall. Given how heavy those tables were, didn't really hurt much.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For a bit context the lunchroom doubled as the gym & the tables were specialized long-fold tables with wall sockets they locked into ~250lbs

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I woulda just let it happen and cashed out.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Just fucking stand inside of that shit.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I thought the red was her blood...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s instinct, we had a truck fall off a hoist and as it did a mechanic tried to stop it with his hands. Someone luckily pulled him back.

7 years ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 0

Maybe he was a superhero and almost blew his cover.

7 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

"Dang it Clark! You almost got crushed" "Yeah maybe this isn't working out. Maybe I will take that journalist job"

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Instinct is a bitch. I've seen a number of times people try to catch falling knives in kitchens. More often people twitch then pull back

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Wk'd at Williams-Sonoma as a kid, dropped knife & tried to catch it, stuck it through my hand lesson learned

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This from a movie?

I once instinctively caught a falling bowl. It was full of something boiling. As a plus, that introduced me to my favorite burn ointment.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I once tried to catch a boiling pan with my foot, got a nice fat drop of boiling water for my trouble, the scar took like 5 years to fade

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I winced just from reading that.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can't just say something like that and NOT say what the ointment is.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Semen.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ran to my closet to check. First Degree Burn Cream. It's been an absolute miracle for someone clumsy who likes to cook like me.
