Looks easy enough - I'm lazy!

Awesome. Fab. Pinterest you hurt me

You wanna know how I get naturally curly hair? Naturally.

I've done this without twisting the hair, just roll strands into circles and pin, you will be happy.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol those are called Bantu Knots

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuckin' nailed it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well unfortunately, you can never be royal. But I will refer to you as queen bee.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I don't think you know what "naturally" means....come back when you have an afro...and are the whitest kid on Imgur. (Me)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same, @op. I feels ya.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How are you supposed to sleep comfortably with a pin cushion head! Just let your hair do what it wants, it has all the power here!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Larger hair twisties and no brushy brushy

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've tried this and got the same results.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

step 5: get drunk enough to not care about falling asleep on uncomfortable as fuck bobby pinned buns

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA SPAGHETTI AND COTTON CANDY HAIR YO

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My mom used to do this to my hair. The secret is you can't twirl the pieces before you make the little buns. Roll the sections flat and pin.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Sacrife a rooster to Satan, that worked for my ex.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think you did this quite right.

10 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Yeah. She's not blonde.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Try a few braids next time!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or 'plopping.' Works and is less painful.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not natural...

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

"Natural" as in looks as if you were born with it. Not everything needs to be taken literally, good lanta

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

you brushed it :/ thats how you messed it up.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I brushed one side after I realized I couldn't get my fingers through the tight curls

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

learned from your mistake? Headbang next time, curl less tight or peel the curls apart.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is easy to make your hair curly, but as us curly haired girls will tell you styling it is the real challenge. Try using a wide tooth comb

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

EIther that or just use your fingers.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need to buy one! Thanks :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a man with long curly hair, I have no idea why anyone would volunteer for the hell of curly hair.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WTF. If you have to curl it, it's not "naturally curly" is it? No. No it isn't.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My hair is very thick and actually breaks the pins 90% of the time. As I walk my hair will both come undone and bobbypins rain around me.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's pretty glorious actually. "I will not be restrained! - your hair

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never brush it! The next morning, just finger comb or wide tooth comb it, do not touch a brush or there will be frizz everywhere lol

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I will definitely do that next time..if im brave enough to do it again!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I only know because my hair cycles from beach waves to spiral curls depending on the weather.. On curly days it explodes if I brush it lol

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine is either a few waves or a massive frizz explosion. I only brush/comb before I wash it. Otherwise it's too unmanageable.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Step 1: Be born with curly fucking hair.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good lanta. I get that it's not naturally curly hair. I didn't write the tutorial. I have straight hair;just wanted curly hair with no heat

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm just joking. It's hard to tell on here who is or who isn't but I can assure I am just kidding.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry, it's just every person is butt hurt over the naturally curly part.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Mine took 2 freaking days to get untangled, no thank you

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(1) Here is what I have done several times with proven results. Use socks or cut an old cotton t-shirt into inch wide strips.Similarly wrap

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2) and roll up the cloth to your scalp, the tighter, the bouncier. Make sure your hair is just a little damp or spritz some water.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(3) Go to sleep. When you wake up, untie and unroll for the results. Should be bouncy and easy to manage.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

French braided wet hair, keeping the sections the same size works well too, & it won't hurt to try sleep with tiny buns all over your head

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I tried this once as well... Similar results and excruciating untangling

10 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

lmfao, "naturally" = using artificial instruments to achieve what you were born without.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

its natural cause you dont need to use curling iron or chemicals, but ya lol

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's what curly hair feels like

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Well you managed to recreate the experience of having naturally curly hair at least. :D

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i do something like this often, works very well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsGuWokn47A

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll scrunch my hair up into little buns after washing my hair at night. It gives a little tighter curl than this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually that's a more accurate depiction of having naturally curly hair...

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I know, that's what happens when you try to brush my hair

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As someone with ludicrously straight hair, I reccomend Curlformers. Literally the only thing I've ever gotten a good curl out of.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you tried a curling wand? I'm in the same boat but that thing is amazing!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't get any curl out of anything with heat. My sister has one, though, and it works wonders for her!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No worries, heat is really bad for your hair anyway, it's just that you don't notice it that much with straight hair until it's too late.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also you can have my curlformers, I don't know how other curly people get their hair wrestled into those things at all.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just don't brush it! Comb through with your fingers.

10 years ago | Likes 358 Dislikes 4

As a dude my fine ass hair will not allow it and it will get tangled like fuck

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why would you want curly ass hair?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why wouldn't i?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This cannot be said often enough. I have natural curls and avoid professional barbers because combs are the first thing they grab.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

For @OP and @Gonnaderpya : another option if you can settle for wavy hair instead is to wash your hair, braid it, then a few hours later 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Take it out of the braid. Source: I'm a dude who used to have very long, very fine hair 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

O ty good sir :o

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I couldn't! The curls were so tight :(

10 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 2

Check out black women's natural hair tutorials on YouTube; ones with hair rods. They'll teach you how to loosen the hair when u do this. :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try twisting them a little looser next time? I'm sure it varies by hair type but this strategy actually works well for me.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

But honestly the little twisty dreads on the opposing side look cute anyway.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Using the same technique out of the shower and having your hair dry in the twists will get a more natural curl, especially is you use moose!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seperate them gently with your fingers, just pull them apart towards the side and shake the hair loose. Source: I'm actually curly.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make them loose next time and bigger. And please for the love of CHEESE don't comb curly hair.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

then toss your hair like a headbanger in a metal band. never. ever. brush.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

comb it very well before you put it in the pin curls. in general, you don't need to twist them, just wrap them around your fingers.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can unravel the curls with both hands and losen them that way instead of trying to run something through them

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, if you start a style wet, it should be finished wet. Looks like half of it dried before you got it into the knots.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not true or accurate

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you are not supposed to brush or comb curly hair. source: I have curly hair

10 years ago | Likes 111 Dislikes 1

Only when it's wet and has conditioner in it. And then use a smooth brush or comb to prevent breakage.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have straight hair...and the tight curls looked bad and i had to go to a Christmas party! So brushing was my only solution - then in a bun

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

Id say, never try a new hairdo just before going to a party!

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Solid advice

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

dang, next time loosen the curls a bit

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I will definitely try that! I think I panicked!!
