A JPMorgan executive allegedly used her power to sexually harass and abuse a junior male employee - drugging him, subjecting him to racial abuse and threatening his career when he refused her advances, according to a lawsuit.
Lorna Hajdini, 37, an executive director in JPMorgan Chase’s Leveraged Finance division, is accused in the filing of coercing a married banker into ‘non-consensual and humiliating sex acts’ over months, despite his pleas for her to stop.
Her accuser claims she admitted to drugging him with the date rape drug 'roofies' on multiple occasions and, during one encounter, berated him as he cried while she performed a sex act on him against his will.
The complaint was filed Monday in New York County Supreme Court by a plaintiff proceeding anonymously as John Doe, who claims he chose to hide his name to protect himself and his family after receiving threats.
The lawsuit also accuses JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) of enabling the alleged abuse and retaliating against the banker after he reported it, claiming the firm placed him on involuntary leave, destroyed his reputation and allowed threats against him to continue while Hajdini and others went unpunished.
Neither Hajdini nor JPMC has responded to the lawsuit yet. The Daily Mail reached out to both parties for comment.
A spokesman for JPMC said a thorough internal investigation found no evidence to support Doe's accusations. 'Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,' said the spokesman.
While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.'
According to Doe's complaint, Hajdini’s alleged abuse started almost immediately after the pair began working together in the spring of 2024.
Doe, who is Asian, joined as a Senior VP/Director that March, and Hajdini was appointed to the team in a senior role the following month.
In early May 2024, Doe alleges Hajdini dropped her pen on the floor next to his desk and, while bending to pick it up, rubbed his leg and squeezed his calf.
He claims she then remarked: ‘Oh, you did play basketball in college? … I love basketball players… they get me so wet.’
From there, Doe alleges the advances grew more explicit and frequent.
Later that May, Doe said in the complaint that Hajdini invited him out for drinks, but he declined. In response, she is alleged to have said: ‘If you don’t f**k me soon, I’m going to ruin you… never forget, I f**king own you.’
Twice, Doe claims that Hajdini propositioned him for oral sex in the office, on one occasion asking: ‘Birthday BJ for the brown boy? My little brown boy.’
While Doe claims he continued to resist her advances, Hajdini allegedly threatened professional retribution, telling him if he wanted to be promoted to executive director, he would need to start ‘pleasing’ her, according to the lawsuit.
‘You’re gonna need to earn it, my little Arab boy toy,’ Doe alleges she told him during a work social event at her private members club. During the same event, he claims she repeatedly groped his groin under the table and spat in her hands, running them over his neck and head.
Eventually, Doe claims the alleged harassment escalated into sexual assault. Two witnesses are cited in the complaint as corroborating parts of his account.
Doe alleges that Hajdini used escalating threats and racial abuse to coerce him into performing sexual acts.
He also claimed that Hajdini admitted to drugging him with the date-rape drug and other drugs without his knowledge before some encounters to incapacitate him and facilitate sexual activity, according to the complaint.
Doe also claimed Hajdini used her executive status to gain unauthorized access to his bank account to track his ‘every move.’
In the summer of 2024, it is claimed in the lawsuit that Hajdini showed up at an apartment where Doe was staying, knowing he’d be there.
Inside, Hajdini allegedly made sexual advances on Doe, which he rebuffed, insisting he wasn’t interested.
‘Do you want to get promoted at year end or not?’ Hajdini warned him, according to the lawsuit. ‘Do you want a future at JPMorgan? It’s that simple. I don’t know why you’re fighting this.’
Hajdini then allegedly removed her shirt, began fondling her breasts and racially insulted Doe’s wife, remarking: ‘I bet your little Asian, fish head, wife doesn’t have these cannons,’ the complaint reads.
Doe claims she then forcibly removed his pants and performed oral sex on him against his will. He continued to protest and began to cry, according to the lawsuit.
Hajdini allegedly admonished him for crying and scolded him for failing to achieve an erection.
‘Stop f**king crying. You think anyone would ever believe you? You’re a f**king douche bag who thinks he’s hot s**t, but you can’t even get your d**k hard for me? What the f**k is this?’ she allegedly said.
She then ordered him to perform oral sex on her, ignoring his pleas of ‘don’t make me do this.’
‘Afraid that Ms. Hajdini would act on her threats to retaliate against him, [Doe], embarrassed and humiliated, complied with her demands,’ the lawsuit states.
Doe claims he was assaulted again later the same month.
During the second encounter, Hajdini allegedly ordered him to suck her toes, pushed him to the ground and sat on his face, berating him when he was unable to sustain arousal.
‘I’m very uncomfortable, please, Lorna, please, I’m begging you,’ Doe claims he told her. But she allegedly laughed before making a racist remark that at least his genitals didn’t ‘taste like curry,’ according to the complaint.
Over the following months, Doe claims Hajdini continued to subject him to overt sexual advances at work and in public, and continued to sexually assault him.
The complaint says she repeatedly reminded him that she ‘owned’ him and that she controlled his promotion and bonus, which he understood as a threat that she would block both if he refused.
During an encounter in late September 2024, Hajdini allegedly yelled at Doe that he wasn’t bringing in enough business to help her secure a promotion to Managing Director, before again threatening him if he refused to have sex with her, the complaint says.
‘I f**king own you! I will make you pay… Do you think you’re going to be in good standing if you do not have me in your corner,’ she allegedly said. ‘You really think [management]... want some Brown boy Indian leading Originations?... If you don’t f**k my brains out tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.’
Fearful of retaliation, Doe claims he relented and submitted to another encounter.
His initial protests were overheard by a second witness who was staying in the adjoining room, according to the lawsuit.
Doe claims Hajdini later admitted to drugging him with Rohypnol or 'roofies' and ‘an erection-enabling pharmaceutical substance’, to ensure he could perform before coerced encounters.
Fearful of reporting her behavior, and allegedly concerned JPMC would not properly investigate his claims, Doe began seeking job opportunities elsewhere in late 2024.
However, he claims in the complaint that Hajdini and other senior managers conspired to derail his prospects with ‘aggressively negative’ references after learning of his plans to leave.
In May 2025, Doe delivered a written complaint to JPMC detailing what he described as race and gender-based discrimination and harassment, and a pattern of ‘severe sexual abuse.’
A week later, he claims the firm began retaliating against him.
That included receiving anonymous threatening phone calls from individuals he believes were acting on behalf of Hajdini and others, attempting to scare him into silence, according to the complaint.
‘Just wait ‘till you’re back in New York, Brown boy…’ one caller allegedly told him. ‘You better stay away - snitch.’
On June 9, 2025, Doe says he received a voicemail from someone claiming to be a manager at JPMC, telling him he wasn’t welcome because of his skin color, adding that ‘people don’t want you or your kind here.’
Another caller allegedly threatened to contact US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about him and his family.
Doe claims the company took overt steps to retaliate against him as well, the complaint states.
Within days of filing his report, he says he was reprimanded and then locked out of all company systems and placed on involuntary leave - a decision he claims HR linked to his complaints.
Meanwhile, he alleges that Hajdini and other executives he accuses have faced no comparable action.
JPMC denied Doe's claims, insisting an investigation found no evidence to support his allegations. Hajdini is still employed at the company.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Doe’s attorney, Daniel J Kaiser, called his client’s allegations horrendous and disturbing.
Kaiser said Doe has been left devastated personally and professionally by the treatment he was allegedly subjected to.
He claims his client has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and continues to struggle financially because his reputation has been damaged and he has been unable to find another job.
Doe is seeking damages for lost earnings, emotional distress and reputational harm, as well as punitive damages and changes to the bank’s practices, according to the complaint.

Woah. A dude does it, and he is, rightfully so, attacked. But, a woman does it, and everyone jumps to their defense? That is fucked up.

Oh fuck you. There's not a single comment on here defending her. And Keep in mind for one horrible woman like her out there, the are probably 1000 men doing the same thing NOT being called out on it.

I had assumed they meant in the story, where she has seen no consequences and is being shielded by the company.

If this happened in 2024 then why do you need to tell us about it before the court has ruled? Feels like there is no special hurry to break the news since it's already been two years.

So the details can't be corroborated, and the victim alleging abuse isn't cooperating with the investigation? Hard to see this going anywhere. I hope justice is served, whatever that winds up being
NaughtButOne
Details can't be corroborated, victim isn't cooperating (including not supplying an alleged recorded voicemail), but can recall every racist / power tripping remark verbatim and repeat it back. This thing reads like bad rape fantasy porn.

I feel like if he cooperated after what went down, they would know how to defend themselves in court better.I bet his lawyer told him not to
kahlas
I am a man. I was sexually abused by a woman as a child. I have been been emotionally abused by several women in my adult life including by my ex wife. I've even been blackmailed into having sex by women as an adult via threats of accusations that I did bad things. I would never dream of cooperating with an investigation in something like this. Not when the result of the initial complain is to freeze me out of the company. HR is 100% in civil liability mode and looking for any way to blame him.
howlmachine
I don’t mean to come off as weird, but I’m sorry that you’ve had to go through that. No one should ever have to experience things like that and I hope that you have had a strong support network and have been able to find peace.
kahlas
I'm a man. I haven't, nor will I ever, tell anyone I actually know. Aside from a friend who experienced the same thing also as a child. We all know how hard it is for women, who are believed unless there is a good reason to doubt them, to come forward and talk about what happened to them. It's damn near impossible for a man, who's expected to suck it up and swallow his pain, to actually open up about such things. I don't let it rule my feelings though and get along just fine. Thank you also.
howlmachine
I’m glad to hear that you’re doing fine, but, I still wish things were different and you didn’t have to be isolated with that. I also really appreciate the candour and willingness to share some of your experiences here. If nothing else, I really hope things get better and you end up finding people who will love and support you and you don’t encounter anyone else who may treat you poorly. Have a good day!
sfbiker
I'd be reluctant to cooperate with HR in a company that treated me like this: "Within days of filing his report, he says he was reprimanded and then locked out of all company systems and placed on involuntary leave - a decision he claims HR linked to his complaints"
Presumably he'll be willing to testify in the lawsuit he filed... and hopefully he has evidence.
TacoPoweredHelicopter
Hr is not there to protect you. If you complain and they do nothing do not jump to their tune. Go outside the company.
No this is all hearsay as the case has not been tried, I hate how in Imgur we jump to the side of accusers with no evidence. As of right now we don't know anything, I am inclined to side with the accuser but not to vilify the defendant until it's proven.

Well, we investigated everybody but the actual woman being accused of doing all these things. SHE isn’t allowed to speak on the record. But we’re pretty sure nothing happened.
xo66nt
If this is true its of course very horrible, but, 'allegedly' is not good enough to tell a story. This is dirty laundry and I want no part of it.
RevolutionOnHerLips
That's not how reporting has ever worked since lawsuits replaced duels for honor. Me accusing someone else of a crime is newsworthy if it's credible and/or the person is important. You don't have to earn a conviction after years in court in order to be able to start reporting on allegations.
xo66nt
thats a strange way to argue for weaponised libel and mob-courts, for the profit of the evening press, but ok.
agapan
Wait, the Daily Mail? I mean yeah, I believe the victim. Absolutely. However the Daily Mail's whole business model is attacking women. So, like, fact check at least a little before forming strong opinions on this one...

As a sexual abuse survivor it saddens me a bit that the most upvoted comment in the case of a woman sexually assaulting a man is the one that makes the story all about women and they abuse they suffer. Men are only sexually/emotionally abused/assaulted half as often as women but it gets ignored and marginalized too much. All abuse should be recognized for what it is and not marginalized because of some unrelated topic.
purplespaghetty
I’m sorry that happened. In this case tho, dude don’t back his claims nor help the investigation whatsoever. He’s not even cooperating. I think that’s more the red flag commenter was saying to do some research.
kahlas
Because men are treated a lot differently than women when they report sexual assault or harassment. The not helping with the investigation you're referring to is not helping the company's HR department with their own cover their ass investigation. One that's likely not looking out for his best interests since they are already taking actions against him but none against her. If he wasn't talking with cops that would make what you said meaningful. HR is looking to reduce their liability not truth.
xo66nt
poster: “do some research before you draw conclusions”
you: “booooo”
kahlas
I didn't boo. I pointed out how frustrating it is that when men report sexual abuse people's gut reaction is often to deflect because so many people feel like men are always the abusers and can never be the victims. I'm 48 years old and can about guarantee I will never tell anyone I actually know, outside of one friend who was also sexually abused as a boy and brought it up first, that I was abused by a family member and her friends as a child. Because I'm a man and that doesn't matter.
xo66nt
Mate, I respect your trauma and Im the first to agree that men can be victims of sexual abuse and women abusers. Reading this piece, though, it is entirely made up of allegations and I dont think allegations belong in print. Quite simply, we just dont know enough about the case to have a qualified opinion.
kahlas
I wonder if you feel that way about the hundreds of women who have come forward with allegations of rape/assault as part of the #metoo movement without also reporting the allegations to the police? Because many women have reported rape and abuse but also not reported it to police because they don't want the years of emotional trauma that comes with "proving" such allegations by having a criminal trial. Do you think that those allegations should be ignored and not in print also?
LoudBirb
Well... every time the post is about a sexual abuse survivor that's a woman, one of the most upvoted responses will inevitably be some form of "not all men", which makes the story all about men.
I suppose that, if nothing else, at least the commenters are consistent.
Also, it should be noted that while men do get assaulted half as often as women do, 87% of the time it's by another man. It seems like male sexual assault only gets talked about when a woman does it, which is part of the problem.
kahlas
Comments that downplay rape get downvoted though. You're narrowing down sexual assault to just forceful rape for that 87% stat. When you start using the entire definition of rape it jumps up by a lot. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10508-010-9617-0 Rape takes more forms than just a bigger stronger person physically imposing their will. When my ex wife said that if I didn't keep having sex with her she'd tell my family she suspected I was grooming her daughter, that's still rape.
LoudBirb
Sexual assault and sexual coercion are both kinds of rape, yes, but they are not synonyms. You shouldn't conflate them.
This article looks at sexual coercion specifically, not rape as a whole, so you are not using the entire definition of rape either, just a different narrow scope than the one I was addressing.
LoudBirb
I should also note that your article is examining established heterosexual couples only.
It is not looking at queer couples, nor is it looking at non-couple sexual coercion. The latter is especially prevalent here, since sexual coercion happens A LOT in casual dating (i.e. one night stands) and "situationships" (i.e. "friends with benefits").
kahlas
Sexual assault is defined as "any unwanted sexual contact." Sexual coercion falls under the definition of sexual assault. Your original comment I replied to was, "Also, it should be noted that while men do get assaulted half as often as women do, 87% of the time it's by another man." which is incorrect. You're trying to whitewash men being assaulted by failing at using different rhetoric that you don't even understand. Essentially trying to gaslight a SA survivor. Be better.
JStengah
Not to mention the hashtags OP is using sound very much like the stuff MRAs came out with in response to #metoo, who only cared about male victims when they could be used to accuse women of reverse sexism by insinuating they don't care at all when men get assaulted.
